Bit of a mixture this site, some good points and some bad. Its location means you will need to negotiate a narrow road to gain access, check in at reception was easy as was finding the pitch. No hard standing more of a worn out patch that was a mixture of sand and mud. Hookup close by but not water, partly under trees with most pitches being semi shaded. Easy walk to the mainly stones beach via a steep wooden staircase. From there you can walk along the beach to Dunwich Heath National Trust tea room and then back via nice pathways through the heath. The sie has a small shop and cooked food is available.
The negatives are the mucky pitch, the drive you mad push button showers (4 seconds per press) and the the main internal bar / restaurant being closed due to fire in January 2025, something we were not aware of. The site also had quite a few tents and caravans that stood on pitches with grass growing high all around and the tops and side all green with alge.
