23rd to 27th Sep - Cap D'Agde on the French South coast

As the weater was wet and the pitch muddy I was a bit worried about being able to drive off of it and avoid getting bogged in but we made it out. After stopping outside the camp and washing mud off shoes and cab floor we set off.

Another easy drive a two hours later we arrived at Cap D'Agde on the Mediterranean coast and booked in at a Camping Charlemagne which is a pretty impressive site. Three pools, two outside and one inside, bar, restaurant, shop and a very short walk to the beach. We booked for a few days here so we can relax a bit, get some beach time in and cycle around and see what's here. 

Day 2 here and it's a beach day. We headed up the coast on our ebikes and stopped off where it looked good. Collected a few shells and stayed for about three hours. Bad news was I had a puncture and had to walk the bike back. Done some shopping then back to get ready for an evening at another site with bar, restaurant and maybe some entertainment. 

Day 3 here and it was a little more of the same, back up the road and onto the beach because it's what we do best. Strange people these French, when it's lunchtime and you fancy a beer or a burger you can't have one. That's because everywhere is closed including supermarkets often until 4pm.

Day 4 Went out for a cycle ride towards a town along the coast called Sete. Unfortunately I had used 50% of my bike battery before I got there so we had to turn back. We ended up in a bar in Maldormir, after that a few local gift type shops. Then it was time to head back to the pitch and pack up ready for departure tomorrow around 11am. Next stop will be our last in France before we cross the boarder into Spain.
