2nd April - Denia - We're off grid by the beach
It was only a 12 mile drive on to Denia this morning and we're parked up alongside the beach. Campervans are permitted here but the police may fine you if they see any signs of camping. So no chairs, no ramps and nothing that extends the size permitted including open windows. Roof vents are ok.
We had a walk to the marina area which was nice then headed into town.
I managed to find a Lobster SIM card so we can have 200GB of data for 11 euros.
Once in town we headed for the castle and enjoyed a walk around plus a swift beer and chocolate muffin. Then it was time for shopping, plenty of them here plus an Ale Hop if you know what that is.
The sun was out, it was hot and eveyone was sitting outside drinking and eating tapas so it seemed rude not to join them. Two plates were enough. Amazing to find that a beer, glass of red wine and two good size plates of tapa were 12.20 euros or £10.65.
